Laramie's Chocolate Shop
LOCATED IN DOWNTOWN LARAMIE ON HISTORIC IVINSON AVENUE
Since opening in 1982, The Chocolate Cellar has been an integral part of the community for the past 38 years. Located in downtown Laramie on the historic Ivinson Avenue, The Chocolate Cellar has grown into a favorite destination for both locals and tourists.
At one time the shop was located just a door down, tucked away in the cellar, thus where the name The Chocolate Cellar comes from. It was here that Christie, the first proprietor, started this unique shop as well as her collection of vintage candy tins that can be seen in our shop today. There are over 500 displayed! Adding to the charm of the shop are the antique curved glass candy cases. Later, Christie moved the shop to 113 Ivinson where we are today.
With a little more space at our Ivinson location, we have room for more chocolates, more sweets, more gift items…

THE CHOCOLATE CELLAR'S 2ND PROPRIETOR
The Chocolate Cellar has been a favorite shop since I was young and I could always count on Cinnamon Bears and Jordan Almonds in my Christmas stocking, Swedish Fish in my brothers and Chocolate Bunnies at Easter. I still love my childhood favorites, but I have expanded my tastes to include our dark chocolate marzipan, cinnamon churro toffee and yes, several others. I always take a bag of milk chocolate turtles and sea salt caramels when I visit my brother and his family, his grown-up favorite. Another generation of Chocolate Cellar customers, my children. They love the orange and raspberry chocolate covered sticks and chocolate covered gummy bears to name just a couple!
So, if you need just a bite, bag or box of chocolates for yourself or someone else, some simply delicious caramels, 43 different flavors of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans or if you are looking for that “just right” gift, stop by or give us a call and we would be happy to make suggestions.
